Dr. Wamser + Batra GmbH as a new member of the Foreign Trade Association of North Rhine-Westphalia. V. (AHV NRW).

At this year's general meeting on May 24, 2012 in the Zollverein Coal Mine in Essen, Dr. Wamser + Batra GmbH was accepted and welcomed as a new member of the AHV NRW in the presence of Mr. Mike D. Batra, Managing Director. Mr Andreas Mühlberg, Managing Director of the AHV NRW based in Düsseldorf, used this opportunity to highlight Dr. Wamser + Batra GmbH and with it the special position as an India specialist among the members of the AHV NRW.

Mike D. Batra spoke to the members of the annual meeting on this occasion and also informed them about the range of activities of Dr. Wamser + Batra GmbH with regard to support in the Indian market, especially in the two areas of a) management consulting (market analyses, establishment of subsidiaries, company acquisitions, partner/supplier searches in India, search for Indian management personnel and crisis and interim management) as well as b) business Support Services (administrative work on corporate, tax and financial law in India, corporate compliance audits, etc.).

The Foreign Trade Association of North Rhine-Westphalia eV is an association of companies from North Rhine-Westphalia that are active in foreign trade. Members include companies of all sizes and sectors: import and export trade, industry, banks and services. Since, as a foreign trade policy association, it promotes the interests of exporting and importing trade, companies of foreign origin who want to successfully develop foreign markets such as India from North Rhine-Westphalia are also members.

Nationally, the AHV NRW is integrated with all players in foreign trade promotion across Europe via the NRW Foreign Trade Competence Network. The focus of foreign trade policy is on customs and foreign trade law, export controls, trade protection instruments as well as tariff and non-tariff barriers to trade. The Dr. Wamser + Batra GmbH is the only company in the AHV NRW membership that has completely specialized in the Indian market.

Following the general meeting of the AHV NRW, the 1st Foreign Trade Day NRW took place with more than 500 participants under the motto “Global Megatrends – Opportunities and Challenges for German Foreign Trade”, also on the grounds of the Zeche Zollverein in Essen. The Indian market was once again of particular interest, including comments from speakers from Bayer AG and ThyssenKrupp AG, but also through the workshop with the topic “The successful adaptation of entrepreneurial strategies in India”.
