Report on the event on India and China that took place in Frankfurt on November 17, 2015.
Providing currently relevant information for German companies in India and China and stimulating a discussion regarding the experiences of German companies in both countries – that was the objective of the management consultancy “Dr. Wamser + Batra GmbH” and their partner in the “Global Consulting Alliance” (GCA), “Far Eastern Consulting”, who specialize in China, with their event “China & India: Are only “I” and “C” left from BRIC? “Experiences and current developments”. The large number of participants of around 50 participants, the positive reactions to the specialist lectures and the lively panel discussion afterwards proved that this goal was achieved and was organized together with Taylor Wessing, the German Centers Delhi.Gurgaon and Shanghai as well as the East Asian Association (OAV). Event can be described as a successful event.
The first two specialist presentations by the German Centre Shanghai and Far Eastern Consulting were dedicated to China (the current economic and political situation in China under President Xi Jinping and the factors that German companies should currently be aware of there), while in the third presentation, Mr. Werner Heesen, Head of WB Human Resources®, turned to the Indian market. Based on many years of experience, Mr. Heesen gave the audience an insight into the problems that German companies often face in India and the underlying causes of these. Different behavioral patterns in the world of work as well as the makeup and structures of Indian companies were among the topics covered in order to convey to the audience how - taking these special features into account - German companies can manage projects successfully over long distances. After another presentation by Taylor Wessing on the current legal framework in both countries, a panel discussion followed, with Dr. Anne Daentzer (Head of Legal Asia/Pacific at SCHOTT AG), Dr. Jana Helbig (Managing Director, German Centre Delhi.Gurgaon), Peter Vogel (Managing Director, Vogel Energy Group) as well as Peter Schubert (Authorized Officer, G+H Schallschutz GmbH) and Manfred Büchner (General Manager, ECARO Aircraft Seating China) took part.
