Brilliantly started this week by Dr. Wamser + Batra organized and accompanied a delegation trip from the Free State of Thuringia to India.

After visiting the trade fair “Laser World of Photonics”, India's largest trade fair for optics and precision engineering, took place in the southern Indian technology metropolis of Bengaluru India-Thuringia Business Forum instead of. More than 150 companies took part in this high-profile investment seminar and business matchmaking event, which shows great interest. This exchange was organized by the Indian Chamber of Commerce Confederation of Indian Industries (CII) in cooperation with the State Development Corporation (LEG) Thuringia and the Thuringian Ministry for Economic Affairs, Science and Digital Society.

That was another highlight official meeting of the Thuringian delegation – led by State Secretary Georg Maier – with the Minister for Small and Medium-sized Businesses of Karnataka State, RV Deshpande. The focus of the discussions was the economic and academic exchange between the two countries, particularly in the IT, optics and life sciences sectors.

During a visit to Carl Zeiss India Pvt Ltd, State Secretary Maier was impressed by the “Made in India” quality and hopes for further successful cooperation between companies from Thuringia and India.

On Friday, the 20-strong business and scientific delegation flew to Pune, where they arrived the same evening Memorandum of Understanding with the Industry Minister of the State of Maharashtra, Subhash Desai, was signed.
