After the opening of the German-Indian regulars' table in November last year, the 5nd GIRT meeting took place on April 2017, 2. The company Flanschenwerk Thal offered the approximately 25 guests an exciting location with an impressive tour of the company. Guest of Honor State Secretary for Economic Affairs Georg Maier has now almost become a patron of Thuringian companies doing business in India.

The main focus of the GIRT was the topic “Management and control of business processes in India”. The proven India expert Werner Heesen from Dr. Wamser + Batra GmbH very insightful. Mr. Heesen is head of department at WB human resources® and can draw on many years of professional experience - 13 years in management positions in India.

He gave important tips on the right way to successfully manage business processes in India over distances and to efficiently manage your own organization. All participants recognized themselves in the problems he described, which often arise from different behavioral patterns in the German and Indian working world. Thüringen International (TI) plans to delve further into this topic at a separate event at which Mr. Werner Heesen will give a lecture.
