The 15th Asia Pacific Forum Bayern, organized by the Chambers of Industry and Commerce in Bavaria, found on July 26, 2023 in the Haus der Wirtschaft in Nuremberg with around 250 participants.
The interesting lectures and panel discussions were primarily about: Opportunities for sales, sourcing and Investment, but also about innovation and skilled workers in or from Asia. In addition, the conference program included the current Reorganization of the global economy discussed and the associated issues opportunities for German companies in the region.
A particular focus was on risk management in the China business as well as expanding business with other countries in Asia, such as India. Due to its dynamically growing economy and special geostrategic importance, India was one of the main topics during the discussions with the participants.
The Dr. Wamser + Batra GmbH was present at the forum with its own stand; India experts Sonjoy Chaudhury and Paresh Patel held discussions with around 25 participants about various aspects of business in India. A particularly large number of questions were asked about the topics of purchasing from India and establishing local value creation with assembly or production.
The forum was - as in previous years - a good one Compass for German companies in the most dynamic growth markett Asia.
