We have recently observed that companies from the medical technology sector in particular are investing in India. This trend fits in with the market research trip planned by BW_i for companies from Baden-Württemberg on the topic of "Life Science and Medical Technology" from October 20th to 25.10.2024th, XNUMX, for which we organized and conducted the preparatory workshop.

India is increasingly becoming the focus of international companies, and not only as part of a “China Plus One” strategy. In particular, representatives of the medical technology sector (e.g. implants, diagnostics, human medical instruments, dressings, etc.) and pharmaceuticals (production, manufacturing and marketing of medicines) have recognized the business potential that India offers them.

Indian production has long been considered high-quality and increasingly automated. The domestic market is growing and the public sector is stimulating the economy through constant investment, for example in the expansion of logistics. Bilateral trade between Germany and India is increasing continuously.

BW_i (Baden-Württemberg International), the central location promotion agency for business and science in the state of Baden-Württemberg, is therefore planning a practice-oriented market research trip for mid-October this year [BW_i Market exploration trip].

Our expert Sonjoy Chaudhury, in cooperation with BW_i, has just organized the corresponding preparatory workshop and held it in Stuttgart.
