BOMAFA used expertise from Dr. Wamser + Batra to establish a joint venture in India

For almost a century, BOMAFA ARMATUREN GMBH has been considered a competent partner for sophisticated steam pressure control valves in power plant and plant construction. The family-run company is dedicated to the development and manufacture of high-quality fittings, especially for critical areas of application. Since there were long-standing, extremely successful supply relationships with India, the company decided in 2012 to start manufacturing in Ahmedabad / Gujarat in the form of a joint venture with a local Indian partner.

“India is a strategically important market for our company. “It was therefore our goal to develop a sustainable model in order to be able to sustainably participate in the Indian growth market through local value creation and adaptation of our products to local customer needs,” says Friedrich Appelberg, managing partner of the BOMAFA group of companies. “After careful consideration, we decided to work with an Indian partner in the form of a joint venture. In order to select the right partner and adequately prepare the discussions to establish the joint venture, we successfully used WB’s expertise.”
