Keiper GmbH & Co. KG is a German automotive supplier from Kaiserslautern. With almost 6.000 employees, the company develops and manufactures seat components and seat structures for international automobile manufacturers.
The company has since been taken over by Johnson Controls.
Keiper planned to set up its own research and development center in India. On a transitional basis, the work should be carried out by external contract developers who, if necessary, should be integrated into this as part of the development of their own capacities.
Our task was to look for an Indian partner for joint activities. Since we didn't have enough specific experience with India ourselves, it quickly became clear that we needed the support of a competent advisor. After a short market analysis, we chose Dr. Wamser + Batra. The project progress was remarkably positive. The success factors were, on the one hand, the impressive network of Dr. Wamser + Batra in India and on the other hand the commitment and passion combined with a professional and goal-oriented approach. Thanks to the cooperative way of working, a partnership-like relationship was quickly established between customer and consultant, which paved the way for a very good project result.
