WB has been the official foreign representative of WB since May 2016 Thuringia International, the economic development initiative of the Landesentwicklungsgesellschaft mbH Thuringia (LEG) on behalf of the Ministry of Economics, Science and Digital Society of the Free State of Thuringia.

The office was opened in New Delhi in September 2016 as a local contact point for Thuringian companies.

As a foreign representative, we support Thuringian companies in the following matters relating to export business and market entry in India:

  • to find business partners,
  • to expand and maintain contacts with economic policy makers, associations and institutions,
  • prepare exploratory talks and negotiations,
  • to obtain information (e.g. “market check”),
  • to carry out on-site company visits, trade fair appearances or other appointments.
