During his first seven (of twelve) years on site in India, Michael Enderle was responsible for an investment project worth CHF 80 million in Pune. As Managing Director of the Indian branch of a mechanical engineering company, he substantially increased sales and increased the local market share.

Mr. During his time in India, Enderle set up and expanded various companies with production facilities in the country - while overcoming many obstacles. For example, he has experience in dealing with trade unions (during strikes and unrest) and can also point to successful negotiations with local and national authorities.

As head of the Swiss Business Hub India, Switzerland's export and investment promotion organization, he and his team then accompanied around a hundred Swiss entrepreneurs every year in their challenges in the growth market of India.
