Key Account Manager

As a child of the Ruhr area, Raphael Pekowski moved to Frankfurt am Main for training in the fashion trade and to Karl Lagerfeld in Paris. After returning to his old roots, he completed his Bachelor of Science in Management & Economics and his Master of Science in Economics. One thing was always clear: in addition to the Ruhr area, sales is also his home!

Raphael Pekowski gained his operational experience in international B2B sales for a software company, while he gained his strategic sales experience at the Bochum municipal utilities network company. As a key account manager, he was involved in setting up the initial and strategic sales structure, which can be seen as a novelty for the Bochum network company, which is still a partially monopolistic infrastructure provider.

Raphael Pekowski was then jointly responsible for the network company's first operational sales activities. His focus was on acquiring new customers for technical products and products that required explanation, as well as project support and customer relationship management.

Raphael Pekowski works in a similar role at WB. In addition to expanding existing and building new customer relationships, he sees himself as a link between WB and interested parties or customers:

“I am happy to be able to use my previous sales experience at WB in a new context. But I'm also looking forward to new experiences related to consulting services and consultative selling. This requires trusting and honest cooperation between WB and its customer companies. This is exactly my goal as a link in order to find an ideal solution for both parties, which is the basis of a long-term partnership.”
